It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Brampford Speke Church of England Primary School.
Brampford Speke is a very special place: a small, nurturing village school with a strong sense of family and community. Our vision, Small but Mighty, reflects our belief that small beginnings can lead to great things. Like the mustard seed in Jesus’ parable, every child has the potential to grow, flourish and make a positive difference in the world.

Set in a beautiful village location beside the River Exe, just ten minutes from the centre of Exeter, our surroundings provide wonderful opportunities for learning and exploration. Outdoor learning plays an important part in school life and supports our children’s academic, personal and social development.
We are proud to be a Church of England school. Our Christian vision and values are woven through our learning, relationships, collective worship and daily life, helping every child to develop spiritually, morally, socially and culturally. We also enjoy close links with St Peter’s Church, where we gather for services throughout the year.
Our caring and dedicated staff know our children well and work hard to ensure that each of them feels safe, valued and included. We provide an ambitious and engaging curriculum that inspires curiosity, creativity and a love of learning. Alongside classroom learning, children enjoy a wide range of opportunities, including sport, music, arts and crafts, gardening and outdoor education.
