Teaching Assistant CHERITON FITZPAINE PRIMARY SCHOOL
We would like to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil in KS1. This post is for three days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), from 8.45am to 3:45pm, including lunchtime supervision and a 30 minute lunch break. The post is for 39 weeks per year, which includes staff training days.
The current pay range is from £12.85 to £13.26 per hour, depending on experience [Grade C]. This is a fixed term post until 31st August 2026, when staffing needs for the following year will be reviewed.
Applicants should have experience of working with children and have an understanding of how they would adapt the curriculum and motivate a child with additional needs to enable them succeed in school. Training will be given to the successful candidate to develop the skills needed further to undertake this role.
